The purpose of this research is to study current inservice education. Also after investigating of satisfactions in inservice education according to person´s situational variables (eg. marriage, educational level, clinical experience, working place, position), this paper would be a datum for the purpose of inservice education.
From Apr. 4 to Apr. 29 in 1979, 250 nurses who work at 5 general hospitals were taken as a sample, which is result as follows:
1. The level of satisfaction in content, method, effect after education revealed very significant in educational level, but no significant in the other person´s situational variables.
2. The level of satisfaction of educational content is average 2.96, that of effect after education is average 2.93, and that of educational method is average 2.80, which is the final order.
3. According to person´s situational variables there is few significant distinction in nurses´ recognitions about the attendancy of this inservice education.
4. According to person´s situational variables there is few significant distinction in nurses´ satisfactions with the plan of the inservice education.
Through these conclusions written above I´d like to say my opinion below. Since other variables except educational level have negative results in this research, the objects and situational variables of further study should be enlarged.
The future plans of inservice education should be made according to the demands of nurses who would be educated.
